Think before you drink Coke or Pepsi or any another soft drink.
Have you ever thought what you drink when you drink an aerated drink? You gulp down carbon dioxide, something that nobody in the world would advise you to do.
Two months ago, (August) there was a competition at a professional wrestling event "Whoever can drink the most Coke in 10-minutes will receive a shot at the heavyweight champion"
The winner, "The American Dreams" Donnie Rhodes, drank 16 bottles in just under 10-minutes. He collapsed in the ring. He was taken to the dressing room and later to the hospital. Rhodes passed away before the hospital could pump his stomach.
Two other wrestlers became violently ill. Neither wrestler required medical treatment.
An autopsy was performed. The coroner, Dr. Andrews, cited the cause of death as "too much carbon dioxide in the blood and not enough oxygen".
The promoter, Dan Nelson, has been charged with one count of negligent homicide.
