Napoleon Dynamite
This is the story of a nerdy high school student and his great odyssey. Napoleon Dynamite dances to the beat of his own drummer. He is an awkward teen in small rural town. He and his 32-year-old brother Kip live with their Grandmother. They have a pet Llama. Napoleon is the target of bullies. This is a comedy with humor similar to that found in "The Royal Tenenbaums" or "About Schmidt".

Mark Mattis Review: Jeremy Madrox has already seen this film twice. He loves it. But, he is not the one writing the review. As a general rule, any movie that spends too much time making a "cutesy" opening credits sequence should be avoided. Get up and leave immediately. As the opening credits appeared, I got an uneasy feeling that it was going to be a long night. I was right.

Cyrus Poe suggested we see this film. One hour into the film, I noticed a soft-glow light a few seats away. I glanced over to see Cyrus checking his watch. He would continue to check his watch every 5-minutes until hell froze over... er, I mean... until the movie ended.

There were some humorous moments. We each laughed a few times. Sadly, the laughs were few and far between. I continually stared at Cyrus - telling him how I was going to kick him square in nuts once we got outside. This was a painful experience that I will not soon forget.
