Shaun of the Dead
This is modern day foreign import romantic comedy horror film. You got all of that? The movie is set in present day England. Our hero, Shaun is an apathetic electronics store employee. Shaun's girlfriend wants excitement.
She wants adventure. She wants to do more than sit around a pub and drink.
Shaun's bestfriend and roommate is crude, fat, and obnoxious. Zombies begin
taking over the town and Shaun's world gets flipped upside down. The film was originally released in the UK. It received a limited US release.

Mark Mattis Review: Going into this movie I had high hopes... I was not disappointed. The starts with a fair bit of comedy and slowly creeps toward an all out horror film. Don't get me wrong, there are laughs right up until the end. But, the mood shifts throughout the film.
